Description

Patients will be able to access their medical records more easily, as well as receive confirmed disease information (additional tips that doctors are not able to share even during 1-hour sessions).

Doctors will have more time to interact with patients because they will have a pre-filled health-status formula (before the meeting patient will be able to fill a formula describing the disease, which will support the doctor in the diagnosis).

It will be produced and used for free by the general public, particularly the chronically ill, doctors, and hospitals.

Help non-profit projects develop software for patients-doctors contact so that hospitals could use a single system

Goals

  • ppl have their med data digitized and accessible through medical centers
  • patients can report their injuries before arriving at the hospital to get help faster
  • Doctors can oversee patients' daily surveys / monitor health
  • Patients can access verified information databases on their injuries
  • everyone should be able to contribute to improve medical software

Context

  • False health information and hazardous advice
  • Hospitals utilize various software, which reduces the effectiveness of communication across facilities.
  • There are more than X different types of healthcare software on the market. Booking conference rooms / Amazon.com e-commerce software is more advanced than software used by, most likely, every hospital: buying a book requires more sophisticated software than your treatment.

Examples

  • When I have a leg injury and am on my way to the hospital, I want the doctors to see what occurred to me before I go in.
  • There should be a gateway with knowledge that has been confirmed by doctors, especially for patients with chronic diseases.
  • It should be easy for the terminally ill to participate in clinical trials
  • Doctors should be able to monitor their patients outside of appointments
  • Everyone should be able to select where their medical data is stored (not hospitals)

Plan

  1. Survey patients, doctors, hospitals' administration, and system admins
  2. Create documentation
  3. Adjust to local laws

Developing software to improve patient communication.

Patients will be able to save their medical records more easily, as well as receive confirmed disease information (additional tips that doctors are not able to share even during 1-hour sessions).

To do

  • Medical and hospital software
  • Patients will be able to fill out pre and post-diagnosis/meeting forms on their current health status, which will improve patient-doctor communication.
  • Patient application: Individuals and hospitals will be able to store information about performed tests and diagnoses locally for internet access; patients traveling abroad will be able to send their health data to foreign doctors
  • Database on diseases: Boosting sickness awareness: patients have access to verified information on their disease (treatment, exercises, diet recommendations, and more)
